About Sharada Bank:
“Shree Sharada Sahakari Bank Ltd.” was established on 9th February, 1978 by people committed to social cause, inspiring & willing to have one bank, which will help common man in their needs by saving money for their future needs.
The bank commenced its business with main branch at 692/A/2A, Saluja Chambers, Pune - Satara Road, Pune -411037 on 20th Aug,1978. The main branch was Inaugurated at the hands of  Prof. Shivajirao Bhosale.
The bank has recently completed glorious 37 years of service successfully due to its adherence to prudent banking practices, technology advancement, customized products and value added services for customers and most of all due its experienced, qualified and professional Board of Directors.

We started our career with one thousand members who had made a contribution of Rs. 3 lac in monetary value but who were inspired to put in the hardest efforts to put life in and shape the institution.

The bank has evolved broad-based patterns of loan-distribution. The deposits have come from members of different strata of society.

The bank works on the principle of scientific redistribution and transfer of the capital from those having surplus to those who suffer from its inadequacy. Such a transfer is required for the progress of industries, professionals, trade and achievement of social justice by helping the lowest strata of the society called economically weaker section to come up.

Social commitment:

• Bank is actively involved in social and cultural programs.
• The Bank is sponsoring "Blood Donation Camp" every year on 1st May ,since last 30 years.
• The Bank is arranging “Police Shram Parihar Kendra” at Tilak road, Pune , on occasion of Ganesh Immersion from last 5 years to serve 2500 police, home guards.
• The Bank has also arranged “Eye Checkup Camp” at Shaniwar Peth Br on 08/01/2015 and Sinhgad Rd. Br. On 11/05/2015.
• Bank is providing helping hand to the members of the bank who are severely suffering from any diseases and having low economy income.
• The bank is providing helping hand to the students who are excelling in their academics.
• The bank provides Medical Expenses Loan Scheme at lower interest rate.
• We have always appreciated the integrity of the staff members and the zeal with which they work as member of Sharadiya Family. This is highly commendable.
• Staff welfare was not forgotten though we consider them as our family members and we tried to make available to them all the facilities we could.           
• This progress so far achieved would not have been possible but for the determined efforts and full devotion to the task by the members of the Board who were responsible for the management of the bank. Their efforts are valuable.
